MANILA, Philippines - With noonday temperatures reaching record highs as the El Nino phenomena worsens, protecting your engine against heavy traffic congestion and severe heat is the guarantee of Motul’s MoCool Radiator Fluid. Developed for use in cooling systems under extreme driving and racing conditions, MoCool has been tried and tested to decrease engine operating temperatures by as much as 30 degrees. MoCool is a concentrated cooling fluid that may be mixed with distillated water for immediate use as a coolant. “This performance additive from Motul offers better heat transfer than normal coolants. The unique formula also contains rust and corrosion inhibitors and it is designed to be used with pure water at a dilution of 5%. It is proven safe for use in aluminum, magnesium, cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze systems,” states Adrian Baltazar, Marketing Manager of Motul Division, Autoplus Sportzentrium, the exclusive distributors of Motul oil and lubricants in the country.
“How does this work? MoCOOL is a concentrated additive. You mix it (20:1) with distilled water for best results, but you can also mix it with any coolant. MoCOOL works by making the little air bubbles that form in the cooling system smaller resulting in better heat transfer. It also contains additives that help to reduce corrosion from running straight distilled water. It also advisable to drain your radiator first before adding MoCOOL,” adds Baltazar. MoCool is available at P1,500 per 500ML bottle.
