UMC extends A.I.D. to calamity victims

MANILA, Philippines - In the wake of two unexpected calamities that wrought havoc on the lives, properties, and livelihood of a great number of Filipinos, Universal Motors Corporation (UMC), assembler and distributor of Nissan light commercial vehicles in the country, teams up with its dealers to extend help to the victims.

With the Nissan A.I.D. (Assistance in Disaster) Program, UMC offers special calamity rates for Nissan Patrol, Frontier, Navara, Urvan Estate, Escapade and Shuttle owners in the repair of their flood submerged vehicles. Nissan A.I.D provides 20% discount on labor and parts for engine overhauling and body repair services and special parts purchases (except for lubricants and PMS parts). Discounts are applicable at services and parts availed at authorized participating Nissan dealers only.

Nissan A.I.D. also aims to mitigate the damage on vehicles in cases of future similar incidents by arming owners and buyers with information and tips on how to salvage flood drenched vehicles.

NISSAN A.I.D. is supported by UMC’s dealer network in Metro Manila and Central Luzon.
