18th Trans Sport Show opens today

MANILA, Philippines – Consummate auto restorers will be crossing paths with previous Best of Show winners and the most discerning car connoisseurs and enthusiasts at the much awaited Trans Sport Show, which opens its doors to the public at the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall, Building B, Mandaluyong City. Enjoy a superb lineup of vintage and contemporary cars at the prominent event bruited as “A Car Show for Enthusiasts by Enthusiasts,” which will run until April 26, 2009.

Now on its 18th year, Trans Sport Show never ceases to amaze the staunchest car fanatics or hobbyists with prized possessions themselves. For this year’s event, show organizer TradeShow International, Inc. (TSI) expressed that the viewing public will surely be enthralled by new vintage restored vehicles churned out by the most seasoned restorers. Trans Sport Show has always drawn the support and participation of Filipino car aficionados and craftsmen who display a keen passion for automobiles.

“Trans Sport Show has always maintained a good number of vintage cars to show every year, combined with the contemporary custom cars.” TSI President Sophie delos Santos said. Indeed, since its inception in 1992 as a general automotive show, Trans Sport Show has evolved into one of the most popular automotive events that car-savvy individuals swarm to. It is the longest running motoring event in the country that car enthusiasts of all ages could easily identify with.

The main attraction of the prestigious car show is the Trans Sport Show Cup Competition, which has modern and vintage ‘show cars’ competing for the “Best of Show” award. With each passing year, Trans Sport Show ups the ante as far as “show cars” vying to meet topnotch standards of automobile restoration is concerned.
