The All-New Goodyear Eagle F1

"Now, listen! I dont like you to make mistakes!" These are very strong words coming from a young man.
The young man barking out these words was JP Tuason. The son of the late racing legend Arthur Tuason had reason to be very imposing for he was supervising the test drive of the all new Goodyear Eagle F1 that Saturday afternoon at the Le Pavilion grounds near the Macapagal Highway in Pasay City. He was personally in charge of the half dozen or so Eagle F1-shod brand new BMW 3-series sport sedans that they used as test cars for the tires launch.
But JP had no reason to worry. After all, he knew the track well and with the carefully measured braking area, slalom area and the wet "aqua planning" section, he designed the track that snaked around the Le Pavilion grounds to be safe and mistake-free. He was likewise confident with the cars since they were BMW 325 M-Sport models, which are renowned for their telepathic handling and responsive cornering abilities. But most of all, he was confident with the tires that the Bimmers were rolling on.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 is the latest high performance tire from the international tire company. Its built with Goodyears Trinuum tire technology and incorporates track-to-street technology gleaned from Goodyears involvement with racing, which helped it develop new technology in three key areas of tread design, construction and compounding. The new Eagle F1 is equipped with the unique OneTRED design which accounts for the tires impressive traction, control, responsive handling, quiet ride and high-quality performance.
The OneTRED design combines three thread zones to deliver its promised performance and each zone works together to stabilize the full tread of the tire. Zone one is a seamless, continuous centerline around the tire that gives a stable center tread for precision steering and nimble road response. Zone two is an uninterrupted link between the tires tread zones which transfers force in all directions and aids optimal acceleration and braking. Zone three is the F1s solid stable shoulder that helps improve dry cornering.
The Eagle F1 likewise features a silica-based AquaSIL compound which contributes to the tires high-traction grip for excellent starting, stopping and cornering characteristics. The tires V-TRED design makes it a world-class performer in the wet while its rim guard provides a protective cushion that takes the brunt of accidental impacts.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 follows the highly successful GS-D2 model which sold more than two million tires in Asia since it was introduced in 1997. The new tire is expected to perform better than the old Eagle F1 and edge out its competitors to become the best-in-class ultra-high performance tire in Asia. The new Goodyear Eagle F1 is available in a wide range of sizes starting from 195/45-ZR15 for your subcompact sports sedan to 285/30-ZR21 for those "bling-bling" super bad SUVs. The tires are currently available at the Goodyear dealer nearest you.
