Pilipinas Shell supports energy department’s fuel economy initiatives

-
Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (Pilipinas Shell) recently supported the Department of Energy (DoE) campaign to promote fuel economy consciousness among passenger taxi, jeepney and multicab drivers in Metro Cebu. Dubbed as the "DoE Fuel Economy Run in Metro Cebu", the run was designed to promote fuel efficiency by applying gas-saving driving techniques, to demonstrate the important role of the driver in achieving substantial reduction in fuel consumption and maintenance cost, and to provide vital information on the fuel economy rating performance of common modes of public transport.

"Shell is honored to be part of this initiative since we are now offering our new reformulated gasoline with the ‘Better Mileage’ formula in all Shell stations nationwide. The introduction of Shell’s gasoline with ‘Better Mileage’ formula is part of the company’s long standing commitment to provide customers, especially the public transport sector, with innovative fuel products that meets their needs for reduced fuel consumption," said Shell companies in the Philippines Country Chairman Edgar O. Chua.
