In line with efforts to provide customers with optimum vehicle ownership experience, General Motors Automobiles Philippines Inc. (GMPh), the domestic subsidiary of the worlds largest car manufacturer, now proudly offers three customer assistance programs that provide unequaled quality of aftersales service and convenience.
The three customer assistance programs include the GM Roadside Assistance Program, the Periodic Maintenance Service and the Customer Assistance Center.
The GM Roadside Assistance is a round-the-clock toll-free hotline service managed by qualified auto technicians (called Roadside Assistance Field Service Managers) provided to all owners of Chevrolet, Opel, Subaru models purchased from September 2001 and onwards. Any warranty-covered situations such as free delivery of two gallons of fuel, towing, battery jump-starts, mechanical failure, tire replacement, vehicle lock-outs and even emergency calls to family members are available free of charge!
Coverage of the program extends to areas throughout Luzon, Cebu and Mindanao with quick response time ranging from 30 to 60 minutes (Metro Manila) or relative to the nearest accredited service/towing providers located in provincial areas.
"GMPh is committed to provide customers with the best aftersales service whether circumstances are simple such as fixing a flat tire or more complex such emergency cases like running out of gasoline," says Mike Nacua, GMPh Aftersales Director. "Weve had emergency cases all the way from Isabela, Vigan, and Baguio, and all of whom were towing cases and were towed in Chevrolet Pampanga, the nearest GM authorized retailer up north," he added.
The GM Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 via hotline numbers 045-887 4646 or text via 0922 887 4646.
The Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS), on the other hand, gives Chevrolet Optra and Aveo owners a FREE 2-years parts and labor service. Free parts includes oil filters, AC Delco engine oil, pollen filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, air cleaner and front brake pads. To date, GMPh is the only car company in the country that proudly offers this quality of service.
Should customers need further assistance and have other inquiries, the GM Customer Assistance Center (GM CAC) is also readily accessible to them. By dialing the toll free number 1-800-1888-4646, customers can easily inquire with professional GM CAC representatives about car related concerns or obtain information such as retailer locations, car specifications, aftersales service appointments, quick service locations among others.
"With all these services offered to our GM customers, we are strongly committed to provide customers with value-add on services that enhance their overall vehicle ownership experience while protecting their investments and allowing them to enjoy the prestige of owning a GM vehicle to the fullest," Nacua shares.
