Dubbed as Nissan Smooth Drive Campaign, the program reflects NMPIs commitment to providing quality and adequate after-market services for thousands of Nissan car owners in the Philippines.
"For 21 straight years, NMPI has provided roadside assistance to car owners of all brands, not just Nissan, who take part in the annual Holy Week break. We are very proud NMPI is actually the pioneer among the car companies in undertaking such a program," Willy Natividad, NMPI parts sales and management department head said.
The first stage of the campaign, already began last March 15, with Nissan car dealers offering the Safety Check-Up Package, a promo where Nissan car owners can get free 3.5 liters of Caltex NX Turbo motor oil.
To avail of the freebie under the Safety Check-Up Package, a Nissan car owner must purchase the following to get free 3.5 liters of Caltex NX Turbo: spark plugs, oil filter, air filter, at least three liters of radiator coolant and fuel filter. As part of the promo, the labor for the Safety Check-Up Package covering diagnosis of the engine, air conditioning, cooling system and lubrication will be free of charge.
On top of that, this package offers a Scratch-A-Prize card, giving a chance to win spectacular giveaways like limited edition Nissan jackets. Likewise, sample products of the sponsors of the Nissan Smooth Drive Campaign will be given away.
The sponsors of the campaign are Caltex Philippines, Options Unlimited, R-M Paints, Destiny Air Cargo System, Keylargo Car Accessories Center, Lemon Square Cakes, Outlast Batteries, Philippine Belt Corp.-Bando; Herrick Filter Manufacturing Corp; DHL Express; and Leversson-Thule.
The selected Nissan dealers which offered the Safety Check-Up Package are Nissan Mantrade at Pasong Tamo; Nissan North EDSA in Balintawak; Nissan Commonwealth; Nissan Gallery Ortigas and Quezon Ave.; Nissan UN Ave.; Nissan Southwoods; Nissan Westgate in Alabang; Nissan Central Manila; Royce Motor Center, Inc. in Cabanatuan City and San Fernando, Pampanga; Nissan Cebu; and Nissan Iloilo.
From April 7 or Holy Wednesday to Black Saturday or April 10, Nissan service personnel will be posted at selected Caltex stations in Luzon to provide roadside assistance to Nissan car owners.
The Caltex stations are: Baguio City; San Pablo and Sta. Rosa in Laguna; Dasmariñas in Cavite; Baliwag in Bulacan; Capas in Tarlac; Olongapo-Subic; and San Fernando in Pampanga. In addition, Royce Motor Center in Cabanatuan City and Xentrex Automotive, Inc. in Urdaneta Pangasinan will form part of that support network.
"NMPI will be posting in its newspaper ads prior the Holy Week the location of the roadside assistance centers, so Nissan car owners can easily get seek assistance in case of the unlikely," Natividad said.
