"Volvo in Sports" with the new Volvo XC90

Following the introduction of its first Sports Utility Vehicle in the country, the XC90, Volvo revs up its involvement in sports through the Mayors Cup Badminton Tournament 2003 which is ongoing until November 17, 2003 at the Manila Polo Club.
Volvo endeavors to help uphold sports, education, and community service through the Mayors Cup Badminton Tournament. Led by Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay, proceeds from the badminton tournament will go to the Benigno Aquino Foundation and the Bigay Pagmamahal Foundation.
With the arrival of its first Sport Utility Vehicle, Volvo also aims to be more active in sports-related activities. The company continues to venture into more dynamic fields of human activity that are still in line with the core values of safety, quality and care for the environment.
