Set to begin this month, Byk101s Season 2 will now be aired at 10 pm every Wednesday on IBC Channel 13 to give more bikers the chance to watch. "Many bikers are out on rides on Saturday afternoon so we moved the show to a better timeslot," said Mike Chan, a former superbike racer and one of Byk101s hosts.
The show will even have a "Byk101 Rewind" which features replays of its first season episodes to be aired in Solar Sports every Saturday at 7:30 pm, right before the NBA games.
Byk101 has been known for featuring celebrity riders in its "Riding High" segment. It will continue doing so in its second season, this time focusing on actors Ian Veneracion, John Estrada, Romnick Sarmenta, John Pratts and many more.
Lined up for its much awaited Byk Babe portion, on the other hand, are Andrea del Rosario, Asia Agcoaili, Tisha Silang and other sexy celebrities.
Viewers will also be treated to a variety of other equally interesting features, such as the Shell Superbike Championships at the Batangas Racing Circuit (Full Throttle), the latest bikes (Byk Watch), safety riding tips from Yamaha (Beyond the Basics and First Gear), motorcycle-related events (Cruise Control) and a new segment where a celebrity Champagne Morales will be taught how to ride a motorcycle in a virtual Yamaha riding school.
The show is sponsored by Shell Advance Motorcycle Oils, Yamaha Motorcycles and BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle division of German carmaker BMW. It is produced by Kneedown Production and directed by Boy Gatus.
