Caltex launches search for the Ten Outstanding Public Drivers

Caltex (Philippines), Inc., in cooperation with the Department of Energy and the countrys top transport associations, launched last Oct. 15 a program that will give recognition to bus and jeepney drivers who have shown exemplary safety and driving skills and have made a contribution to the community.
The project is in line with Caltexs commitment as a long-standing partner of the Filipinos in nation building. The company aims to help uplift the image and status of the people in this sector of society, they who contribute much to the countrys growth by transporting people to their destinations daily.
Entry forms are available at various jeepney and bus association offices nationwide. Deadline for submission of entries is on December 31, 2003. The ten winning drivers will receive P100,000 each.
