Prestige cars BMW to hold qualifying tournament for the BMW Golf Cup International

Prestige Cars BMW (Makati) will hold its qualifying tournament for the BMW Golf Cup International on Sept. 12, 2003 at the Sta. Elena Golf Club.
The BMW Golf Cup International, first held in the Philippines in 2001, is the largest amateur golf competition to take place worldwide. It has over 150,000 players participating annually in nearly 35 countries.
Winners of the Prestige Cars BMW qualifying tournament will be entitled to join the BMW Golf Cup National Finals in October. Winners in the Philippine Finals shall then represent the country in the coveted World Finals, which will be held at the Penha Longa Golf Resort in Portugal from Nov. 3 to 8, 2003.
"This is the third year we are hosting this tournament for our customers," said Jose R. Alvarez, president of Prestige Cars BMW (Makati). "Its a great opportunity for us to get together with our clients in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere."
The Prestige Cars BMW qualifying tournament is being held in cooperation with Taylor Made, Starbucks Coffee and Nestlé Waters.
