Caltex Havoline Motor Oils and Xpress Lube presented the premier night of the fast-car flick — 2Fast 2Furious — last Friday, September 5 at the Cinema 2 of Greenbelt 3. The oil company added excitement to the premier and started the festivities with a motorcade from the Fort grounds to Greenbelt 3. The motorcade was like a live version of the movie with fast, modified and customized cars snaking their way through the weekend Makati traffic.
Havoline and Xpress Lube is likewise giving their customers a chance to see the movie for free during its regular screening which begins today, September 10. 2Fast 2Furious is a sequel to the 2001 box office hit The Fast and the Furious. The movie features the story of former cop Brian O’Conner (played by Paul Walker) who teams up with his ex-con buddy Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) to transport a shipment of "dirty" money for shady import-export dealer Carter Verone (Cole Hauser), while working with undercover agent Monica Clemente (Eva Mendez) to bring Verone to justice. Needless to say, a lot of innovative cinematography, special effects and sound engineering were used to give the movie goers a ride of a lifetime.
