BMW Group Philippines launched three new initiatives aimed at further strengthening its presence in the market, as well as prove its commitment to its Philippine clientele.
Leading the lists of initiatives was the launch of BMW Financial Services, a division within the BMW Group that offers customers financial solutions suited to their specific needs.
According to Lüder Paysen, senior vice president of the Sales Division of BMW, the financial services is being launched "to further enhance customer satisfaction and solidify BMWs reputation as the leading premium car brand in the Philippine market."
Through programs like BMW Auto Finance, BMW owners can avail of benefits such as flexible financing through contract terms tailor fit to their personal needs.
Meanwhile, the BMW Flex Finance program enables current owners to reduce monthly payments by opting for a larger "balloon" payment at the end of the contract. Flex Financing also allows current owners to trade in their BMWs for newer models and only be accountable for the trade-in value and the cost of the balloon payment.
"Our financing plans, in partnership with Security Bank Corporation, allow more people to enjoy BMW cars and at the same time experience the excellent quality of our service," said Mark Gilbert, president and CEO of BMW Group Philippines.
Gilbert likewise launched the BMW Certified Pre-Owned Program (CPO), a scheme that offers prospective buyers an assurance that the previously owned BMW they are buying offers the same stunning combination of reliability and superb driving experience they expect from BMW.
BMW cars eligible for the CPO include those that are less than six years old with mileage that should be less than 120,000 kilometers. Each vehicle should have a full BMW history and should not have been in any major accident.
Gilbert added that only cars brought from authorized BMW dealers are eligible for certification.
To further ensure the quality of the cars passing through the program, these must undergo BMWs 100-point checklist, a process where BMW-trained technicians subject each car to a comprehensive examination that looks thoroughly looks at every detail of the vehicle. Once BMW certifies the car, it gets a full 12-month/20,000 kilometer warranty.
In anticipation of the expansion of BMW services required by these programs, the carmaker has also invested in a new custom-built training center in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, to ensure that certified technicians are continually updated and trained on the technologies introduced in all BMW products. The training center represents an investment of almost P20 million and will be located in a 1,643-square-meter lot with more than 500 square meters of floor space.
"The best cars in the world must be accompanied by the best after-market service and this includes non-technical training as well, so we are focusing heavily on delivering premium levels of service in all aspects," stated Paysen.
In line with its customer-focused initiatives, BMW is also opening new dealerships to cover Northern and Southern Philippines. Pampanga Prestige cars, Inc. in San Fernando and Performance Auto Group, Inc. in Cebu will ensure delivery of quality service to BMWs clientele in these areas.
