Here comes the Shogun!

-
Suzuki Philippines recently launched a new motorcycle aimed at fun-loving riders.

Called the Shogun, which means general of a great army in Japanese, the new 4-stroke, 110cc motorcycle has a twin dome combustion chamber for high performance and fuel economy.

According to Suzuki, the Shogun has superb suspensions designed for heavy loads and stable traction. The motorcycle has been tried on a ride from Manila to Bondoc and Manila to Leyte and did not have any breakdowns. It also showed enough power to climb hills smoothly, even with an extra passenger.

Available in two models (with a drum brake and with a disc brake), the Shogun is now being sold at at P56,200 and P59,200.
Insurance claims go online
Tired of waiting for your auto insurance claims? Insular and HIH General Insurance Company (InsurGen) has just launched the first on-line claims processing service as an added feature of its INRoads product.

Policyholders just have to bring their damaged vehicles to any of the repair shops linked to the Genesis Total Solutions (GTS) claims system. The shop will then take digital photos of the vehicle and, using a computer, will get an automatic estimate of the damage. All needed documents will then be sent to InsularGen electronically for authorization in a process that is guaranteed to take only an hour.

InsularGen said all InRoads policyholders can also avail of free towing, on-site repairs, medical assistance and they can even upgrade their policies to include travel assistance. For more information, call 814-0946 or visit www.insulargen.com.ph.
Jianshe bikes pass test
Jianshe Motorcycle Philippines, a subsidiary of Jianshe China, recently completed an endurance test of its 10 models in a ride that went from Manila, passed through Nueva Ecija, Banaue, Sagada and ended in Baguio.

The China-made bikes were subjected to torture on different road and weather conditions to determine their durability, quality and performance. They were tested on their power, speed, fuel consumption, braking and climbing ability, manueverability and parts durability.

Jianshe said all 10 bikes passed the test easily, and their riders were convinced that each model would be accepted by the Filipino public.

Of the10 bikes tested, four – the Bronco 125, Blitz 110, Legacy 100, Stag 40 – are now available in the local market. Asian Genesis Inc. distributes the bikes through accredited dealers nationwide.
