As the leading business icons in the local beauty industry, the hardworking Belo Medical Group CEO and founder Dr. Vicki Belo and managing director Cristalle Belo Henares were among the invited speakers in a forum entitled First Thought Leaders Live Conference. Held at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center Manila in Makati City, the said event was organized by Entrepreneur Philippines and gathered several of the Philippines’ foremost leaders in business. The mother-daughter tandem behind the success of the country’s premiere dermatology and cosmetic surgery center gave a brief discussion about the latest and innovative procedures offered at the Belo clinics. In addition, the two women shared their business strategies that contributed to the growth of their beauty empire which now include Sexy Solutions, Belo’s non-surgical, fat reduction clinic and Belo Essentials, a professional skin solutions line developed by Dr. Belo and her team of experts. The other forum speakers included Gawad Kalinga founder Tony Meloto, Waters Philippines founder and CEO Josiah Go and highly-acclaimed hair and makeup artist Lourd Ramos. Hardworking EMotors Inc. president Beth Lee joined the top CEOs and tycoons recently honored by BizNews Asia, the Philippines’ largest business weekly, during the newsmagazine’s grand 13th anniversary celebration. Beth Lee received the Green Entrepreneurship award while Justice Lolong Lazaro and GMA’s Mike Enriquez were cited for Excellence in Law and Broadcast Excellence, respectively. The guest list read like a who’s who of people from politics, business, media, and society.  Vice President Jejomar Binay, former presidents Fidel V. Ramos and Joseph Estrada (incumbent Manila mayor), Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, and Trade and Industry Secretary Greg Domingo graced the affair.
