Working toward a disaster and climate resilient country

A gathering of distinguished individuals from the public and private sectors took place at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City for the Partnerships for Disaster and Climate Resilience Conference organized by the Carlos P. Romulo Foundation, Manila Observatory and Zuellig Family Foundation. The main objective of the conference was to generate awareness and build up resilience on the challenge of natural disasters and climate change before embarking on a three-year project. At the forefront of this meaningful endeavor is the hardworking Carlos P. Romulo Foundation and Zuellig Family Foundation chairman, ambassador Roberto Romulo who warmly welcomed the speakers and attendees to the two-day conference.
