Paseo de Magallanes marks 10th year

Paseo de Magallanes, a bustling commercial center in Makati City, celebrated its 10th year of business in a festive gathering held at the magnificent main furniture showroom of Muebles Italiano located in the same vicinity.  The board of trustees of Paseo de Magallanes led by its president Stanley Tan and representatives of the many business establishments located at Magallanes Village attended the anniversary banquet catered by Sumo-sam Japanese Restaurant. Muebles Italiano president and CEO Noel Gonzales, a board trustee, joined soprano Fame Flores and tenor Al Dresden Ramos in entertaining the guests with their powerful renditions.  Cheers and more power!

Spreading warmth and hospitality in Japan, Russia

The sprawling, colonial plantation-styled sanctuary in Mactan Island, Cebu, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa has sent a team of representatives to two international travel events to promote the country’s trade and tourism.  First stop was Tokyo, Japan for one of Asia’s largest tourism events, the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Travel Showcase 2013, where Plantation Bay was part of the Philippine delegation.  After the four-day event, it was off to Moscow for the Otdykh Leisure, the largest international autumn trade fair for tourism in Russia, held at IEC Crocus Expo. Efficiently run by acting general manager Nenette Castillon, Plantation Bay is known for its rustic appeal counterbalanced by deluxe accommodations and world-class amenities.

Shopwise opens in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Shopwise, the country’s first and original hypermarket, recently opened its 11th branch in Sta. Rosa, Laguna’s premier city and lifestyle hub, Greenfield City.  Shoppers enjoyed Shopwise’s signature experience and excellent brand of customer service on opening day as the new Sta. Rosa branch offered an exciting line-up of in-store activities and unbeatable promos and great discounts on featured products. Present at the ceremonial ribbon-cutting were Rustan’s Supercenters, Inc. (RSCI) president and CEO Donnie Tantoco with chairman Rico Tantoco, Sr. and his wife Nena, Greenfields Development, Inc. president Jeffrey Campos, RSCI chief operating officer Pierre Deplanck, and Sta. Rosa mayor Arlene Arcillas.  The new Shopwise Sta. Rosa is located at the Laguna Central Mall, a new commercial and lifestyle destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment at the heart of Greenfield City.  The new store is managed by Rustan’s Supercenters, Inc., a member of the Dairy Farm International Group.  Congratulations and more power to Shopwise and Rustan’s!
