Stemming the aging process

A private institute offering regenerative stem cell therapies for the treatment of injuries and medical conditions of all types had its grand launching recently at the Isla Ballroom of Edsa Shangri-La, Manila. The Asian Stem Cell Institute (ASCI), headed by its medical director Dr. Cristina “Cri” Puyat, maintains a suite at the Medical Plaza Ortigas on San Miguel Avenue, Pasig City and employs a staff of dedicated licensed doctors and nurses who are credible in their years of experience. All stem cell processing are done in-house by a microbiologist in their state-of-the-art ISO 5 Class 100-certified clean area as ascertained by the launch’s special guest, ASCI chief laboratory consultant Dr. David Gardner.  At the launch, some apprehensions were laid to rest after hearing the testimonials of Dr. Cri’s father-in-law and a couple, both in their mid-80s, who underwent stem cell therapy for their aches and pains. The launch proper was immediately followed by the birthday celebration of Dr. Cri Puyat who turned a gorgeous 50!
