A major supplier of office furniture and sustainable materials CWC International Corporation received an award as part of the project team responsible for the design and development of the interior office space of Sun Life Head Office at Sun Life Center. CWC shared the “LEED Platinum Certification for Commercial Interiors,†the highest rating given by the US Green Building Council for sustainable design and structures, with other project collaborators: Goudie Associates – interior architects; Langdon & Seah Phils., Inc. – LEED consultants; Meinhardt Phils., Inc. – engineering consultant; and RDT Construction – contractor. The project team celebrated the pioneering achievement at Aposento Restaurant and Bar in Makati, with Sun Life Financial administrative services head Armand Apuya as awards presenter.
