MANILA, Philippines - A sure sign that business is booming is the back-to-back store openings of Rustan’s Supermarkets in two prominent cities in the South.  A brand-new branch was opened in Evia City, a master-planned integrated community in Las Piñas, while Rustan’s Ayala Alabang Village branch was reopened, unveiling spacious interiors and a more modern look.  Rustan’s Supercenters Inc. (RSCI) president Donnie Tantoco said the company is tapping into more markets “whose lifestyle needs we can also address, giving them a quick shopping experience that ensures they are able to get everything they need under one roof.”  Present at the Ayala Alabang Village reopening were Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco Sr., RSCI Chairman Rico Tantoco, and Ayala Alabang Village Association President Frederico Sarabia.  Meanwhile, the grand Evia City launch was marked by a 35K fun biking event dubbed Bike Out, attended by former Senator Manny Villar, Philippine Azkals players Phil and James Younghusband, Congressman Mark Villar and Alelee Aguilar-Andanar, daughter of the Las Piñas mayor, among others.  Congratulations to the Tantocos and more power to Rustan’s!
