A remarkable night to remember

The ambassador of Indonesia, His Excellency Yohanes Kristiarto Legowo and wife madame Caecilia surely know how to foster camaraderie among friends as they recently hosted a get together dinner for several of their close peers from the diplomatic, government and business circles at their splendid home in Makati. The sumptuous line-up of dishes – a combination of Indonesian, Filipino and American cuisines – was only a part of the many surprises enjoyed by all that evening.  First was the beautiful rendition of a Korean love song by the ambassador of Korea, His Excellency Hyuk Lee and charming wife madame Won Wan Soo. Ambassador Kristiarto came next with his own version of two Elvis Presley songs wherein he sang with the band on one song and played the guitar for the other. The evening became even livelier as other wonderful performances followed, including a dance number by the ambassador of Netherlands, His Excellency Ton Boon von Ochssee and wife madame Martine and a piano rendition of the classic songs “Blue Moon” and “Dahil Sa Iyo” by former first lady Ming Ramos. Bravo ambassador Kristiarto and madame Caecilia for hosting a fun and memorable dinner!
