Christmas Party of Romulos

Former foreign affairs secretary Bobby Romulo and his wife Olivia hosted their traditional annual dinner at the new Romulo Café in Jupiter Street, Makati. The guests came from the private and government sectors as well as the diplomatic corps. Proprietors of the Romulo Café are Sandie (the daughter of Ricardo Romulo of Romulo Law Offices) and Enzo Squillantini. Bobby’s daughter, Liana provided the photos of her grandfather Carlos. It was the intention of Sandie and Liana that their grandfather’s legacy would not be forgotten by the youth of today. The Romulo family came in full force including first cousin former secretary of foreign affairs Alberto, wife Lovely and their sons congressman Roman and Erwin Romulo. It was the first time that Roman’s fiancée Shalani Soledad met Bobby’s family. There is a photo gallery of General Carlos P. Romulo that highlights the general’s imprints in Philippine history. As Singaporean ambassador, His Excellency A. Selverajah commented: newly assigned foreign diplomats should come to the café to get a snapshot of Philippine history.
