We have all seen, whiffed and sampled a great number of wines, champagnes and cognacs from different places around the world, each claiming to have the best qualities among the others. This is why recently, the Presidential Suite of Oakwood Hotel in Ortigas was occupied by the country’s top executives, society icons and wine enthusiasts for an evening of appreciation of Maurice Hennessy’s special blend hosted by the dapper Moet Hennessy Asia-Pacific business development manager Randy Uson together with Moet Hennessy Philippines chief representative Olga Azarcon. Guests from different sectors were welcomed to enjoy the exquisite dinner prepared by chef Jerome Cartailler featuring luscious Mise en Bouche, Terrine de Foie Gras on Brioche and dishes made with Hennessy variants such as Pear Granite with Hennessy and Chestnut and Valrhona Chocolate Mousse flavoured with Hennesy Paradis. Each heavenly culinary treat was an excellent match for the introduction of the Hennessy X.O. Odyssey – Limited Edition as unveiled to the group by Hennessy Maison brand ambassador Jean Michel Cochet. Designed by Arik Levy, the Odyssey expresses poetic modernity in its design, bringing Hennessy X.O. towards new horizons and perspectives.
