Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone!
Uniting their colleagues from various nations such as Japan, the United States, Kuwait and the Philippines for their 25th wedding anniversary were Charo and husband Bill Ireton, the president of Warner Entertainment Japan responsible for releasing blockbuster films such as the Harry Potter movie series and the award-winning flick Inception. The solemn renewal of vows at the Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park, Makati was officiated by father Bill Grimm, a Maryknoll priest who flew in for the special anniversary mass for the couple. They were joined by their children Matthew, Roberta, William, Thomas and Edward who are all achievers in their own fields and studies. A sumptuous dinner and dance party followed at the Rigodon Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila where the couple relished good memories with friends, including your columnist who was Bill and Charo’s matchmaker. Congratulations to Bill and Charo. Here’s to the next five delightful decades of your married life! Cheers!
