Business As Usual

Born entrepreneurs

-

MANILA, Philippines - One of the best things to come out of the 360 Fitness Club was the experience of having these five young entrepreneurs set up the country’s first fitness club to offer group circuit training entirely with the use of free weights and exercise accessories. They were a determined breed and they dreamed a lot. They built their dreams slowly and patiently. Their patience was as extraordinary as their skills to create.

The team – Kimberly Tañedo, Joana Piñon, Christopher Emmanuel Callanta, Fides Ganzon and Patricia Cortez – shared the aspirations of many other young and ambitious new graduates: to start their own business. The four girls have been working together since college – from creating Tunami, a stall selling healthy tuna meals (tuna burgers, tuna longganisa rice meals, etc) for a school project, to designing and selling footwear, to creating their own clothing brand after college, clothes which they designed and sold in bazaars.

After several years of experience and accomplishments in their respective fields, and upon finding the perfect opportunity for them, they finally decided to put up 360 Fitness Club. Their partnership with Callanta, who apart from being a fitness expert, is also an entrepreneur at heart, shared the same goals with them.

They have the talents, experience and the drive – the rising new stars destined for bigger roles. Meet the young women and man behind the 360 Fitness Center.

Piñon graduated with honors from Ateneo de Manila University last 2006 with a degree in Management Economics. She became a management trainee at the Bank of the Philippine Islands and was assigned as operations officer at their life insurance group.
