The CWC Group, known as one of Asia’s largest high-end furniture businesses from Germany and France led by its chief executive officer Edward Lee and president Ruben Tan, recently held its 11th Annual Golf Tournament at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Cavite. This year’s gathering was filled with a plethora of surprises, a fun program and prizes, including pieces from Claude Tayag, who also designed this year’s trophies. The fairways opened for golf enthusiasts and special guests who flew in from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan to enjoy this one-of-a-kind tournament. The annual event is done as a get together for CWC’s loyal clients, talented designers and suppliers who work together to create world-class products. By lunch time, the best participants this year were called onstage to receive their prestigious trophies. The winners for the Class A category were architect Vicente “Jun” Benito, Andrew Gloria, Benedict Chan and Jonathan Thorpe.
