PEP: A decade of trailblazing trade shows

MANILA, Philippines – What started as a side business for three entrepreneurs 10 years ago is now the country’s showcase for the thriving food industry and related businesses. Premier Events Plus Group, Inc. (PEP) started ten years ago as a side business for three entrepreneurs.  For their first project together, the Premier Events Plus Group Inc.president Joel Pascual and his two partners, Rafael P. Dizon III and Randy O. Manaloto, organized the World Food Expo (WOFEX).

Today, PEP has three other trade shows under its wing and a publishing arm as well. To mark the company’s decade of success, the tenth WOFEX will be held at two locations simultaneously --the SMX Convention Center and the World Trade Center -- on August 4 to 7, 2010.

Pascual believes that ensuring that their exhibit clients bring home good returns on their investments and keeping the entrepreneurial spirit burning are essential to the company’s success. “As entrepreneurs, we understand how important it is to get returns on investment. That’s why we help our exhibitors get the best returns when they participate in our trade shows,” shares Pascual.

WOFEX, which has been dubbed “the Ultimate Food Show,”,showcases different aspects of the food business. Exhibitors range from companies presenting products to suppliers promoting their ingredients or equipment. The trade show also has food trend discussions featuring industry experts as well as food preparation seminars and product demonstrations.

PEP’s trade shows in the Visayas and Mindanao reflect the company’s commitment to be in sync with the Filipino entrepreneur’s needs.
