Perfect impact

The second annual Up Close and Personal Impact Awards was recently held to honor noble groups and individuals in society today who were able to make life better for others.

Started by the show “Up Close and Personal,” hosted by the lovely Marissa del Mar, the awards night is also a celebration of the show’s eighth year. Among the recipients of the awards for this year were former Executive secretary Eduardo Ermita, Korean ambassador Choi Joong Kyung, Associate Justice Renato Corona, Brittany Corporation chief executive officer Mark Villar who received the award in behalf of Senator Manny Villar and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman lawyer Miguel Varela for their contributions in the advancement of different sectors of society.
