Founded in 1984, Puno & Puno Law Offices (PPLO) has grown to become one of the leading full-service law firms in the country with practices in a wide spectrum of transactional, litigation, corporate and regulatory areas. An expert in the fields of energy, taxation, commercial arbitration, mining and social license, the firm is proud to have been involved in the successful resolution of landmark disputes. In grateful thanksgiving to their most loyal of clients, friends and colleagues, the firm’s Partners and Associates recently hosted a special cocktail reception at the Rockwell Tent. PPLO founding partner justice Ricardo Puno, Sr. delivered a warm welcoming speech followed by a message of thanks from the firm’s senior partner and Corporate and Energy Practice head Eric Puno. Prior to a sumptuous dinner replete with a mini-concert featuring a 20-piece orchestra, a ceremonial toast was proposed by the esteemed Supreme Court of the Philippines associate justice Renato Corona. Capping off the evening was a live music, allowing over 200 guests to party and dance the night away. In behalf of its guests, PPLO sponsored the adoption and care of endemic trees in the La Mesa for a period of 3 years. Indeed, PPLO’s growth is not limited to the firm. Congratulations!
Shang’s thanksgiving toast to 2010!
It was a night of music and merrymaking as Shangri-La Plaza recently held its annual thanksgiving party at the chic Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. Aside from the fruitful partnership of the Shang and its retail partners throughout the previous year, the celebration led by charismatic Shangri-la Plaza chairman and chief executive officer lawyer Andy Bautista, and lovely executive vice-president & general manager Lala Fojas also served as a toast to a better and brighter 2010! The food, which was tres bien and sparkling premium wines kept guests in a jovial as they enjoyed the revelry filled with cheers, camaraderie, and excellent musical entertainment by Broadway performers Carla Gutierrez and Jonathan Badon. Cheers!
