Small entrepreneurs trade fair set

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Small Entrepreneurs (CSE) will be holding its 3rd annual trade fair from November 20-22, 2009 at the Megatrade Exhibit Hall 2, SM Megamall from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Entitled “Entreps Exposed: Finding the Real Filipino Entrepreneurs,” the three-day event traces the beginnings of the country’s earliest business ventures in an attempt to define the Filipino entrepreneur’s unique socio-cultural identity. In the process, the CSE is optimistic about history’s integral role in providing the missing link between the old and the new and attaining a more holistic perspective in today’s technology-driven business landscape.

Moreover, the trade fair was also borne out of the CSE’s noble goal in providing new business opportunities and insights for the victims of the recent typhoons — majority of whom lost their properties and sources of livelihood. The event provides a timely support system for them to nurture their battered spirits with inspiring stories of successful startups, eventually paving the road for financial independence and self-empowerment.

Touted to be a virtual showcase of Filipino ingenuity, the trade fair will showcase more than 100 unique locally-made products from various regions and participating non-governmental organizations. This early, the CSE aims to surpass its previous year’s attendance and booth records as it opens its doors to college students and the younger generations of fledgling micro entrepreneurs.

For more details on the “Entreps Exposed” trade fair, call CSE marketing unit 524-1879, 523-9776 or (0919) 3755850 and look for Leng Baluyot, or log-on to: www.csentrepinoy.org.ph.
