Proving its driving force and dynamism in the industry, Robinsons Mall recently celebrated the grand opening of the Robinsons Place Tacloban, making the premiere and vibrant city and the home to the world-famous Pintados festival, a destination like no other. Led by Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) chairman and chief executive officer James Go and president and chief operating officer Frederick Go together with Robinsons Malls general manager Nilo Mapa, the milestone event welcomed excited guests to the launch of Robinsons Place Tacloban, the first-full service mall in Eastern Visayas and the company’s 25th mall in the country set to serve over four million customers from Leyte and its neighboring provinces. Gracing the affair were RLC vice-chairman and deputy chief executive officer Lance Gokongwei, Robinsons Retail Group senior vice president and Group business unit general manager Robina Gokongwei-Pe and Tacloban mayor Alfred Romualdez. Congratulations!

Best of Both Worlds

The best of two cultures came together as Future Trade International presented its Penfold’s wine menu featuring the best Australian wines at the superb French restaurant, Aubergine, located at the Fort, Taguig. Future Trade International managing director James Du Vivier along with RPA and Communicate’s Alan Abadicio and several other guests enjoyed a nine course meal accompanied by Penfold’s fine selection. It was truly a gastronomical delight! Cheers!
