Mansmith Blue Freedom Fund targets talented entrepreneurs
There are a lot of fresh and exciting business ideas out there, hidden in the minds of young entrepreneurs and budding marketers, waiting to be discovered and nurtured. Most of the time however, financial constraints force these ideas into hibernation — or worse, extinction.
Aware of this dilemma, Mansmith & Fielders, Inc. (www.mansmith.net), a leading advocacy-based company into sales and marketing consultancy, is reaching out to young entrepreneurs through the creation of the Mansmith Blue Freedom Fund. This fund is the first-ever venture capital fund in the country targeting those who want to start their own business using the brilliant “Blue Ocean Strategy” but lack financial freedom to turn their ideas into a reality.
“In the years that we have been doing training and consultancy to companies and clients, we learned that they are not only asking us to just train them about marketing and sales strategy, but to help them grow and succeed. With this, we conceptualized the Mansmith Blue Freedom Fund as part of our advocacy aside from recognizing excellent practitioners and inspiring young marketers to excel in their profession,” said Mansmith president and CEO Chiqui Escareal-Go.
The Blue Ocean Strategy is the best-selling book of two brilliant professors: Dr. W. Kim Chan and Dr. Renee Mauborgne of INSEAD, the world’s second largest business school based in
The recipient of the Mansmith Blue Freedom Fund can be an existing business or a start-up business. Mansmith shall provide a substantial seed capital plus free consultation to the chosen recipient. The proponents of the Blue Ocean Strategy idea must first submit an application using the format indicated in the Mansmith Web site (www.mansmith.net).
“We shall be very strict with the standards and choosy with the project. It must be a true Blue Ocean Strategy idea and must show evidence that a 35 percent return on equity is feasible. The proponent must have proven leadership and execution skill with unquestionable integrity,” said Chiqui. She added that the benefits that will be reaped by the recipient are numerous, among them, the fund does not require collateral or interest payment.
