BBS trains Pinoy entrepreneurs

-
Think hospitable and efficient workers worldwide, and chances are, Filipinos would surely come out on top of the list. Aside from being known globally for their expertise in the field of arts, music, sports, and acting, Filipinos are also highly commended for their friendly attitude and accommodating manner.

Academically speaking, Filipinos are also proven competitive. Thus, Filipinos could very well be regarded as one of the most-efficient and competitive workers in the world. Given proper education, discipline, and training, Filipinos would surely succeed in the world market.

This high-regard for Filipinos’ efficiency and hospitality was what encouraged Boston Business School (BBS) executives in Singapore to branch out a marketing and consultancy office here in the Philippines. One of the main visions for this serious move is to direct the efforts of BBS in recruiting Filipino students and giving them the best career opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industries.

Registered in Singapore in July of 2004, BBS envisions itself as the global leader in hospitality education. Its primary mission is to create opportunities for school leaders, international students, and working adults to acquire skills, knowledge, and values appropriate for the hospitality industry. It has also partnered with the Confederation of Tourism Hotel and Catering Management (CTHCM) in the United Kingdom to further meet the challenges of producing the next generation of globally competitive and highly skilled workforce in the field of hotel and restaurant management. With the growing and developing demands for highly competitive workers internationally, BBS believes that now is the perfect time for Filipinos to go with the flow and be at par with the other skilled workers in the world. Aside from helping Filipino students to be more globally competent, BBS aims to help improve the economy by assisting Filipino graduates find a good job in the hotel and restaurant industry either in Singapore or other country, thus, helping them bring dollar into the country.
