Nescafe Classic First Pick, the latest coffee product from the worlds leading name in coffee, has been well received by Filipino consumers since it was launched last January.
"Consumer acceptance continues to be good," says Bruno Olierhoek, business executive manager, Coffee Business Unit of Nestle Philippines Inc.
The Nescafe Classic First Pick is a limited edition coffee made from coffee cherries handpicked by Filipino farmers during the beginning of the harvest season. It is stamped with the Kape Isla seal, a guarantee that the product uses 100 percent Philippine coffee.
Nescafe has long been sourcing its coffee from around 100,000 Filipino farmers. It also deals with about 300,000 other people in the country who are in one way involved in the planting, harvesting, or processing and trading of coffee. It is this access to coffee farms that helped Nestle discover that the first ripe and red coffee cherries picked during the beginning of the harvest season, when carefully selected and roasted brings about a fresh and flavorful cup of coffee.
Among those who have enjoyed the fresh, flavorful taste and rich aroma of the Nescafe Classic First Pick are Uniprom marketing manager Gus de Castro, 2005 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe and model Gionna Cabrera, and neurologist-professor Dr. Vicente Rosales Jr.
De Castro heads the entertainment and leisure arm of the Araneta Group of Companies. For him, the Nescafe Classic First Pick is first-rate. "Its not like anything I have tried before," he says.
De Castro adds that he likes the fact that there is no special preparation needed to enjoy a cup of the Nescafe Classic First Pick.
Beauty queen-model Cabrera agrees. "I love its sweet aroma and its exceptional taste," she says.
Cabrera observes that one can easily distinguish the flavor and smell of the Nescafe Classic First Pick.
"Its tangy taste sets it apart from other coffee," she says.
Dr. Rosales, meanwhile, enjoys the Nescafe Classic First Picks "stronger taste."
"The Nescafe Classic First Pick is very good," he observes.
Apart from its great taste and aroma, the Nescafe Classic First Pick is also packed with anti-oxidants naturally present in coffee tiny molecules that help neutralize the bodys free radicals that attack the cells membranes and cause oxidative stress that may lead to cancer and other degenerative diseases.
Like De Castro, Cabrera, and Dr. Rosales, coffee drinkers from across the nation are now enjoying the fresh, flavorful taste and rich aroma of the Nescafe Classic First Pick.
The Nescafe Classic First Pick is available in two packages the 50g box and the 200g jar. They are available in leading supermarkets nationwide.
