DLSU ties up anew with Yuchengco Group

Alfonso Yuchengco has always worked well with the Christian Brothers. He sent all of his three sons to De La Salle University. He is also a generous donor of much-needed improvements in school infrastructures.
Al Yuchengco’s latest good deed is leasing to DLSU-Professional Schools Inc. the fifth floor of his trophy building, RCBC Plaza, for its MBA classes. The fifth floor, which is called the Yuchengco Institute for Advanced Studies, is open to other schools and organizations looking for a place to hold their seminars and workshops during the morning and afternoon hours. The evenings are reserved for DLSU-PSI.
Former La Sallians such as Asian Institute of Management president Roberto de Ocampo attended the formal signing between Mr. Yuchengco and DLSU System president, Bro. Rolando Dizon, FSC, DLSU alumni president and Philippine-American Life & General Insurance Co. president Jose Cuisia, Jr., however, couldn’t make it.
Interestingly, there were two former chief executive officers of the Development Bank of the Philippines at the signing. There was Mr. de Ocampo and there was his successor, Great Pacific Life Insurance Co. president Alfredo Antonio. – MJGrey
