Quezon City gov’t teams up with Ninja Van to support local businesses
MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City local government has partnered with Ninja Van Philippines, a tech-enabled logistics company, to bolster logistics needs for local businesses and e-commerce.
Ninja Van signed a memorandum of understanding with the Quezon City local government, led by Mayor Joy Belmonte, on August 27 to develop programs strengthening the city’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Belmonte said the Quezon City government sees technology and interconnectivity as key to a responsive government.
“The Quezon City government recognizes the transformative power of interconnectivity and technology as drivers of a responsive government,” the city chief executive said.
“We are excited to work with Ninja Van Philippines to harness technology and innovation to serve our constituents better,” she added.
Ninja Van country head Jose Alvin Perez said the courier looks forward to working with the local government to enhance inclusivity and a business-friendly environment in the city.
“Ninja Van recognizes the significant role of reliable and efficient logistics in nation-building,” Perez said. “We are proud to have found a partner in the Quezon City government who shares the same commitment to empowering local businesses.”
The company’s logistics solutions, including Ninja Fulfillment, offer all-in-one solutions to Quezon City online sellers and business owners with manpower, warehousing, and inventory management.
Its newly launched Ninja Restock facilitates restocking from a central warehouse to medium-sized businesses in the business-to-business space.
The logistics service provider has also partnered with the local governments of Pasig City and Cabuyao, Laguna, to promote security, business continuity, and streamline delivery services. — Intern, Mabel Cardinez
