Country Bankers insurance arm turns 55

MANILA, Philippines - Country Bankers Insurance Corp. is celebrating its 55th founding anniversary this year with more products. CBIC is the non-life arm of Country Bankers Insurance Group, offering protection products as fire insurance (including coverage to allied perils such as earthquakes, typhoon, and flood); personal accident insurance which covers accidental death and disablement for families, individuals, students, workers, etc. Accompanying its celebration are new products such as marine cargo covering movable property against marine hazards and other perils during transportation, and comprehensive general liability covering businesses against legal liability to third parties arising from hazards in the conduct of business activities, among others.
