Through the partnership, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who avail of pre-employment medical package and then deemed “fit-to-work” via medical clearance by MyHealth, will receive a Kabisig OFW Kit that comes with two MyHealth Kabisig health cards for family members in the Philippines, a Smart Money card for money transfers and payments, a Smart roaming SIM card, a Smart prepaid SIM card, and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage.
OFWs availing of the kit will receive two MyHealth Kabisig health cards, which can be used by designated family members in all branches of MyHealth Clinic. The card is valid for one year.
With this health card, they may avail of unlimited free consultations as well as 20-percent discount on flu vaccine, 15-percent discount on laboratory and diagnostic services, 10-percent discount on dermatology procedures, and five-percent discount on plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Moreover, members who avail of the kit will get an accidental death and disability insurance coverage, wherein both the OFW and the declared beneficiary can receive P50,000.
Those who will be given the Kabisig Kit will get a Certificate Of Insurance (COI), which is one of the required documents to be submitted to Fortune General Insurance Corp. in claiming the benefits.
To make it easier, faster, and safer for OFWs to send money to their loved ones in the Philippines in times of health and medical emergency, the Kabisig Kit also comes with a Smart Money card.
Smart Money is the globally acclaimed mobile money service linked to a mobile phone service.
With Smart Money, users can send money, pay for bills and purchases, purchase mobile load and withdraw from automated teller machines (ATMs) using the physical card.
Since it is linked to the phone and the subscriber SIM card, the user gets a text notification is sent every time a feature is used.
