UCPB offers e-statement for checking

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) has launched the e-Statement Service for checking its account holders, which will allow clients to receive their statement of account electronically via their enrolled email address.  The e-Statement, which comes in PDF form,  already contains the scanned images of the clients’ issued checks. It is sent to the client’s enrolled email address within five days after month-end.  To ensure that only the client can access the e-Statement, the file is password-protected. It is free of charge. Clients may avail of the service by submitting an enrollment form to their maintaining branch. UCPB assistant vice president Rina de la Cruz-Balanquit said the new service is aligned with the bank’s commitment to provide proactive service to its clients.  It addresses the need for a quick and convenient way to monitor their  accounts. It also saves clients’ time spent in going to the branch just to pick up their statement of account and issued checks. Best of all, the paperless e-Statement helps UCPB and clients conserve more trees.
