China Bank Savings starts graders on savings

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -  China Bank Savings (CBS) has launched its Banking On Your Future (BOYF) program recently at the Santolan Elementary School in Pasig City. CBS is a subsidiary of China Banking Corp. (China Bank). CBS president Alberto Emilio “Joey” Ramos said the project aims to improve the savings mobilization rate in the country by encouraging Filipinos to open bank accounts at an early age. Under the exclusive partnership, Santolan Elementary School pupils as young as Grade 1 can open an Easi-Save for Kids account with just an initial deposit of P1 at the nearby CBS Amang Rodriguez Easi-Banking branch inside Savemore.  They will also receive a free piggy bank with their new savings account. BOYF is an advocacy of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines (BMAP). Pupils can easily develop the habit of saving as they can deposit any amount at any day of the week at CBS Amang Rodriguez Easi-Banking branch, which is open daily from 10  a.m. to 7 p.m.
