UP tuition payment via BancNet ATMs

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - BancNet and the Diliman and Manila campuses of the University of the Philippines (UP) have partnered to enable the electronic payment of tuition and other school fees using a BancNet-member automated teller machine (ATM) card.

The student, or payor, simply swipes the ATM card on the payment terminal at the university cashier’s counter and the payment is debited directly from the payor’s bank account.

This payment facility eliminates the need to carry big amounts of cash. The machine issues a transaction slip in addition to the cashier’s official receipt.

Aside from being easy and safe, this service is also free of charge.

Other participating schools tuition fees that can be paid by direct debit from an ATM account with a BancNet member bank are those of: Ateneo de Manila, De La Salle Greenhills, De La Salle S. Zobel, Don Bosco Technology Center – Cebu, Mirriam College, Maranatha Christian Academy of Imus, University of the East and University of San Jose – Recoletos.

These are payable online at www.bancnetonline.com.

Tuition fees of Mapua Technical University are payable at the Mapua website.

BancNet is the country’s largest electronic payment network with 113 member banks and affiliates.

It enables the more than 42 million cardholders of its member banks to pay for their purchases at supermarkets, stores and shops, their various bills that include utilities, telecom, and credit cards, airline tickets purchased online, and government fees using their ATM and other debit cards.
