MANILA, Philippines - Standard Chartered Bank Philippines (SCBP) hosted recently a midyear economic outlook to about 200 of the bank’s Priority Banking customers. An awaited event, the annual economic briefing aims to provide guidance to customers on how to seize opportunities to grow and protect their wealth. Two distinguished speakers shared their expert insights. Eastspring Investments global strategist Robert Rountree (in photo, middle) discussed Asia’s income story while Sun Life of Canada Philippines deputy head for fixed income Karen Khristine N. Jonas (right) spoke about the Philippines’ fixed income market. SCBP chief executive officer Mahendra Gursahani opened the session.
