BDO, union undertake joint training

MANILA, Philippines - The first ever partnership forum involving top management, branch managers, union officer, and union stewards was held recently in Davao City between BDO Unibank Inc. branch managers of Davao and Southern Mindanao and Banco de Oro Employees Association (BDOEA)-National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE) stewards under the guidance of BDO Human Resources Group/Business Banking Group and BDOEA-NUBE officers and leaders. The forum is management’s commitment under a provision in a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with bank employees with respect to the conduct of joint training. This is a pioneering provision in the CBA, which the union pursued during negotiations.
