EastWest Bank offers more rewards

MANILA, Philippines - EastWest Banking Corp. is giving its depositors additional two-percent earnings via rewards points on top of regular interests earned. The promo is open to all EastWest depositors with peso current and savings account (CASA) opened as of March 31, 2014. Qualified depositors will earn 100 rewards points for every P60,000 increase in their total month-to-date average daily balance. The promo runs from May 16 to July 31, 2014. Each rewards point has an equivalent value of one peso, and can be redeemed via an EastWest Gift Card subject to accumulation of minimum points required to redeem. The EastWest Gift Card, can be used for cashless transactions in millions of Visa-affiliated establishments and online merchants worldwide. EastWest Bank executive vice president and head of retail banking and operations cluster Gerry Susmerano said the bank is rewarding its loyal depositors with this mid-year CASA promo, where depositors get to earn and enjoy the rewards points while at the same time experience the advantages of the newest card product.
