BPI bags cash management award

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Corporate Treasurer, the only independent print publication in Asia dedicated to serving treasury teams and chief finance officers, has awarded the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) as the Best Cash Management Bank in the Philippines. A sister publication of FinanceAsia, The Corporate Treasurer provides daily market intelligence and long-term strategic finance professionals. BPI’s cash management services are available to corporate clients via the portal ExpressLink. This portal allows clients to manage their cash flow with a fully integrated cash management system that include the following services: payroll and other company credits, fund transfer, bills payment and payments to government agencies (Bureau of Internal Rvenue, Social Security System, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth and Bureau of Customs). The Corporate Treasurer editor Daniel Flatt explains the BPI citation: “We balance (the award) between the breadth of local client coverage between SME (small and medium enterprises) and MNC (multinational corporations) and the degree of innovation and sophistication the bank has to offer its clients. Versus (its) peers, BPI was proven to have the depth, scale and technology to supply its clients what they need for a price they appreciate. We also take into consideration client testimonials and case studies to help supplement decisions.”
