MANILA, Philippines - China Banking Corp. (China Bank) has deployed its new mobile banking application that makes it convenient and secure to do banking transactions using an Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod or iTouch.
The China Bank app enables China Bank customers to conveniently access their account information, view balances, transfer funds, and pay bills on their Apple mobile devices anytime, anywhere.
The app also features product updates to keep clients posted on new offers and a geo-positioning locator to make it easy to find China Bank branches and ATMs.
“Our customers’ behavior and habits continue to rapidly evolve, especially as they rely more on their mobile phones and devices. They have downloaded various mobile apps to do a host of things for them, and we thought it best to deploy our very own China Bank app on Apple’s App store for download so that it sits on their mobile devices and by simply tapping, do their banking,†Antonio Owen Maramag, China Bank vice president for Customer Marketing, said.
The China Bank Mobile App is now available for free download on the Apple App Store. The China Bank Mobile App for Android devices on Google Play will be offered soon.
China Bank Online is accessible on any internet-connected PC or laptop.
A mobile-optimized version of China Bank Online, launched last year, is also accessible on all wi-fi or 3G-enabled cellular phones and tablets.
To access China Bank Online, customers must enroll their China Bank accounts for free at www.chinabank.ph or at their branch of account.
With the new China Bank Mobile App, customers can now perform the same transactions as China Bank Online on their mobile devices, using their same user name and passwords.
