Malayan gets citation for environment solutions

MANILA, Philippines - Malayan Insurance has received the “Best in Sustainability” recognition in the recently concluded 2013 Philippine Insurers and Reinsurers Association (PIRA) Awards, for having implemented environmentally-friendly solutions in its business operations. The award recognizes the company’s active implementation of environmental preservation and protection practices, which heeds the call for environmental sustainability. The insurer was also nominated for the “Outstanding in Innovation” award for its Malayan Insurance Facebook Store, the first and only online non-life insurance store in Asia Pacific.
