PIRA confab in October

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Insurance and Reinsurance Association (PIRA) will hold its 2013 Stakeholders Convention and Awards night on Oct. 25 at the New World Hotel in Makati. The theme of the convention is “Innovate or Stagnate” which will bring together top-notch foreign and local speakers to discuss significant breakthroughs and relevant options. Topics include: innovation on insurance; options on capitalization; investment possibilities; opportunities for new markets and new products; new channels of distribution and new ways of management. Breakout technical discussions will discuss auto, casualties, surety, marine, fire and engineering. The annual PIRA Awards will follow after the convention.
