China Bank opens fourth Batangas branch

MANILA, Philippines - China Banking Corp. (China Bank) has opened its fourth branch in Batangas – Batangas-Lemery branch, bringing its nationwide network to 320, including the branches of its thrift bank subsidiary, China Bank Savings. In the pipeline are nine more China Bank branches within the first semester of the year, including a branch in SM’s first Supermall in Taguig City – SM Aura Premier in Fort Bonifacio, Global City. It is on track with its expansion plan, opening 23 new branches last year – 15 for the main bank and eight for China Bank Savings. This vast branch network is complemented by 528 China Bank and China Bank Savings ATMs to date, and electronic banking channels that provide efficient and secure 24/7 service: China Bank TellerPhone (phone banking) and China Bank Online (Internet and mobile banking).  This year, the target is to open a total of 67 branches. China Bank aims to have a combined branch network of 415 by 2014.
