RCBC among mobile-ready AsPac banks

MANILA, Philippines - The Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) has ranked among the Asia-Pacific banks with mobile banking offerings this year.  In the IDC Financial Insights report released by International Data Corp. (IDC), a global research and consulting services firm, RCBC is the only Philippine bank profiled with seven other top banks in the region for launching customer-responsive mobile propositions. The mobile channel is the top priority for most banks in 2012, and leading banks in Asia-Pacific have deployed their best resources to this “channel of the future.” RCBC offers baseline functionalities that comprise account balance viewing, bill payments, ATM and branch directories, and fund transfers. This mobile functionality is also enhanced by its integration with RCBC MyWallet prepaid cards, ATMs, RCBC AccessOne Internet banking and other online offerings.
